Personalizing Your Interface (Themes)
Operating a mobile app in the field presents unique visual challenges. StreetLoans features a fully customizable visual engine, allowing you to swap themes instantly to adapt to different lighting environments and optimize your device's battery life.
Available Visual Themes
You can select from three custom-designed premium visual interfaces:
- Obsidian Mode (Pitch Black):
- Best for: Outdoor routes in shade, low-light environments, and night-time reconciliation.
- Benefit: Uses absolute black backgrounds. On modern phone screens (OLED/AMOLED), this theme turns off black pixels completely, saving up to 30% of your phone's battery life during long daily shifts.
- Light Mode (Slate Slate):
- Best for: Direct bright sunlight on the street.
- Benefit: High-contrast dark text on soft slate backgrounds makes it extremely easy to read balances, addresses, and phone numbers without squinting or strain.
- Material & Accent Tones:
- Best for: Personal style.
- Benefit: Applies a subtle accent color overlay (such as our prosperity green) to focus points, highlights, and buttons.
How to Switch Themes in StreetLoans
Changing the visual theme takes only two taps:
- Tap the Settings gear icon in the top header or the side navigation menu.
- Scroll to the Appearance & Themes (Apariencia y Temas) section.
- Tap on the theme dropdown and select your preference:
Obsidian (Dark)Slate (Light)System Default(Automatically matches your phone's general settings).
- The application will instantly re-draw its entire screen with the new color scheme. There is no need to restart the application.
Pro-Tips for Field Comfort
- Mid-Day Sunlight: If you are riding a motorcycle or walking under heavy midday sun, switch to Light Mode and turn up your phone's screen brightness to 90%+. This ensures complete readability of client details.
- Saving Battery: If your battery drops below 20% on the road, switch to Obsidian Mode and reduce your phone screen's brightness. This will maximize the remaining battery to let you complete your route and print final receipts.
