Bluetooth Printing

StreetLoans supports printing receipts and loan documents via a paired Bluetooth thermal printer. This is typically a portable 58mm or 80mm receipt printer carried by the field agent.


Supported Paper Widths

The system supports two thermal paper roll widths:

Make sure to configure the paper width that matches your physical printer roll, or printed content will be misaligned.


Setting Up Your Printer

Before printing for the first time, you must pair and configure your Bluetooth printer:

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your Android device and make sure the printer is powered on.
  2. Open Settings → Printer in the StreetLoans app.
  3. Tap Scan for Printers.
    • The system requests Bluetooth discovery permissions. If denied, printing will not work — tap Open Bluetooth Settings to grant permissions manually.
    • The app scans for paired Bluetooth devices and filters those likely to be printers.
  4. Select your printer from the list.
  5. Choose the Paper Width (58mm or 80mm).
  6. Tap Save as Default. The printer is stored as your configured default printer.

Printer Status Messages

Test Print

To verify connectivity before going into the field:

  1. Go to Settings → Printer.
  2. With a printer configured, tap Test Print.
  3. The app sends a test receipt to the printer.
    • If successful: Test print sent successfully.
    • If it fails: Test print failed with error details shown.

Printing After Disbursement

After completing a Disbursement, the app prompts you to print a Disbursement Receipt to hand to the borrower. This slip contains the loan code, borrower name, principal, installment amount, and the full payment schedule.


Payment Receipt

Every time you record a payment, StreetLoans generates a Payment Receipt that you can hand to the client on the spot. The receipt is produced as a 58 mm thermal document and opens in the delivery sheet, from which you can:

  • Print on your Bluetooth thermal printer (PT-210 or another compatible model).
  • Share the receipt as a PDF via WhatsApp, Telegram, or email.

The receipt reflects your Business Profile details —name, slogan, phone, and logo— according to the visibility you configured, and includes the amount paid, any discounts applied, and the resulting balance.

You do not need a connected printer to share the receipt as a PDF: the print option only appears when you have a printer configured.

Likewise, you can print or share the Business State from the Reports section.

Clearing the Default Printer

If you change printers or need to reconfigure:

  1. Go to Settings → Printer.
  2. Tap Clear Default Printer.
  3. The stored printer configuration is removed. You must select a new printer before printing again.
