Customers (Clientes)
The Customers screen is a directory of all borrowers registered in the system. A customer record is automatically created when a Loan Application is disbursed — you never register a customer from scratch from this screen.
How Customers Are Created
Customers are not manually registered. When you disburse a Loan Application (see Disbursements), the system automatically generates a customer profile from the applicant's intake data:
| Copied from Application | Customer Field |
|---|---|
| First Name | FirstName |
| Last Name | LastName |
| Nick Name (Alias) | NickName |
| ID Number (Cédula) | IdNumber |
| Phone Number | PhoneNumber |
| Address | Address |
| Reference | Reference |
| Customer Notes | Notes |
| Photo | PhotoUri |
The customer starts with a Risk Score of 50 (neutral baseline). The system assigns a unique code in the format CUS-XXXXXX.
Customer List Screen
The customer list shows all borrowers ordered by name. Each entry displays the customer's name, code, and a visual indicator of their current standing.
Use the search bar at the top to filter by name or ID number.
Customer Profile Screen
Tapping a customer opens their profile, which includes:
- Full name, alias, Cédula number
- Phone number, email, address, reference contact
- Profile photo
- Blacklist status
- Links to their active and historical loans
Editing a Customer Profile
You can update any customer's profile at any time. To edit:
- Open the customer's profile.
- Tap the Edit button.
- The following fields are editable:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| First Name | Cannot be blank |
| Last Name | Cannot be blank |
| Nick Name | Optional alias |
| ID Number (Cédula) | Can be corrected if captured incorrectly |
| Phone Number | Main contact number |
| Optional; cleared if left blank | |
| Address | Street location and landmarks |
| Reference | Personal or commercial reference |
| Notes | Free-form observations |
| Photo | Tap to retake or upload a new photo |
- Tap Save. The profile is updated immediately.
Note: Only fields you change are updated. Fields left unchanged retain their current values.
Blacklisting a Customer
If a customer has become a high risk or has defaulted and must be flagged:
- Open the customer's profile.
- Tap the Blacklist Toggle.
- Confirm the action. The customer's
IsBlacklistedflag is toggled — if they were active, they become blacklisted; if already blacklisted, they are reinstated.
Blacklisted customers remain in the directory and their loan history is preserved, but they are visually flagged as restricted.
Write access required. Both editing and blacklisting require write access to be active. If the device is in Read-Only Mode, these operations are blocked.
